About Fiber Broadband Association
The FTTH (Fiber to the Home) Council Americas is a non-profit association founded in 2001 that is comprised of companies and organizations that provide video, Internet and/or voice services over high-bandwidth, end-to-end fiber optic networks, as well as companies that manufacture FTTH products and others involved in the planning and development of FTTH networks. The Council is working to create a united group to share knowledge and build industry consensus on key issues related to domestic fiber optics.
Its mission is to accelerate the deployment of end-to-end fiber access networks by demonstrating how fiber applications and solutions add value to service providers and their customers, foster economic development and improve quality of life.
The LATAM Chapter welcomes members from all companies involved in helping to future-proof networks. Its membership categories are based on a combination of the level of commitment each organization wishes to make to the Fiber Broadband Association and the type of business.
