Ufinet attended this event in Panama City, Hard Rock Hotel Megapolis Center, October 7-11, 2019. Our CCO, Alejandro Coyoy, presented a business success story on“Connecting the unconnected“.
This biannual event brings together the Internet community of Latin America and the Caribbean. Organized by the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC), the event takes place simultaneously with the annual meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators Forum (LACNOG) at the Hard Rock Hotel Panama, from Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11, 2019.
During the event, topics such as the evolution of the Internet, security incidents, IPv6 implementation, routing, technologies for small ISPs, among others, were discussed. In addition, the Public Policy Forum was held to evaluate proposals on the administration of Internet resources in the region.
