UFINET participated with two delegates attending the NPlay Cono Sur 2018 event, which was held in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, on March 14-15, 2018.
This meeting brought together public officials, cable operators, IPSs, network solution providers, large operators, OTT and MVNO players, and national and provincial state-owned companies, who discussed the best ways to make service convergence a reality. In the year of convergence, NPlay Cono Sur addressed the need to move from thinking to action in order to simplify and find solutions to what is complicated. He also revealed the opportunities presented by the convergence of services, supported by possible alliances, planning and a 30-year outlook that will make it possible to promote some investments and discard others.
Senior executives, industry influencers and experts from the South American region networked, forged regional and international partnerships, and provided a platform to discuss growth strategies and rebuilding plans across the region.
