São Paulo, Brazil – May 13, 2024 – UFINET, a leading operator of wholesale telecommunications solutions in Latin America, is pleased to announce today the successful completion of the acquisition of WIX NET, a Brazilian wholesale operator based in Minas Gerais. WIX NET has more than 2,500 kilometers of fiber optic network.
This acquisition will be UFINET’s third in Brazil, following the operations of Netell Telecom in 2019 and NB Telecom in 2021, reinforcing the company’s commitment to continue to grow in Brazil, increase its network presence and continue to invest in the region.
