UFINET, the largest wholesale operator of fiber optic infrastructure in Latin America, has just signed a corporate agreement to incorporate NEDETEL’ s operation to its business in Ecuador, thus strengthening the wholesale offer in the country. NEDETEL, an operator with more than 15 years of experience in the sector, has an extensive first class fiber optic network with coverage in all the provinces of continental Ecuador and presence in more than 150 cities with state-of-the-art transport and access networks.

The resulting operation will offer services through a network of 12,000+ km of fiber optic network and multiple international outlets, both submarine and terrestrial, with the complement of 5 Data Centers in Quito, Santo Domingo, Manta, Cuenca, and Guayaquil, where a new Tier III Gold Data Center has just been put into operation, which will be highly attractive to complete the portfolio of services in the country.
